His fingers curl in the glossy blonde hair when their lips collide in a way that expresses what word could not.  It's been years…too long as his grip tightens around the thick leathery coat that hugged her body for the Resembol winter. Two hands of flesh, two hands of warmth cross around her waist and lift her from her frozen place on the ground, in the soft breeze that brushes through her hair, just like his fingers.

Its eager, both are willing, lips moving against the other as if two young lovers at a secret rendezvous. Her heart is thumping in equal time with his, racing against the other chest as the blush that sets over her face turn deep crimson. She twines her fingers into the long, golden hair that shines in the afternoon sun. She clutches him as close as she can, she cannot let him go, if he leaves again…he is part of her.

His passion and vehemence overpower her, as her legs shake, her mind trying to comprehend too many things at once. Not long ago they were standing face to face, the depth of his gorgeous gold eyes smiling at her. He deepened the kiss, eyes squinted shut and before he knew it, he had to let go. The desperation of their kiss made her chest bubble, and her fingers tingled at the sensation.

Their chests heaving, his fingertips gently stroked the blush under her eyes, other hand encircling her waist. No words can escape her mouth, she stands there quietly, mesmerised by the uneasy thumping in his chest.  

His eyes flicker, drawing away to look at her supple lips, as her hand tugged at his jacket, and she leaned forward, giving another quiet kiss, and the two stood there, Winry biting her lip, Edward gripping her. "I missed you" He chocked out, almost catching in his throat as a blush set upon his cheeks.
"I missed you too"

Her breath stammers as she tries to make out the right words to say, what her heart wants. "Do- Don't leave me again, you hear me?" Tears sting her eyes as she buries her head into his chest, hands clutching his chocolate brown waistcoat. His hand hovers above her golden locks, finally resting it on the top of her head. "I promise, I love you" He whispers, soft, but bearing the pain of being away from her for so long. "I love you too"

"Besides, you still owe me your promise" he chuckles, brushing a hand under her chin to look at his eyes. Their eyes meet, as the wet tears under her eyes glisten in the sun. "Marry me"
